General terms and conditions of sale

These terms govern the sale of credits and of the All-in Region subscription by Cavalotrans, a service published by RANK-UP s.r.o., Dělnická 776/5, 170 00 Praha 7, Czech Republic (IČO 21699780, VAT CZ21699780), to a professional transporter listed on the site. They apply between professionals, in the course of the buyer's professional activity.

1. Purpose

Cavalotrans passes on to transporters the horse transport requests that depart from their region. Receiving a request is free. Sending a priced offer to the requester uses credits. 1 credit is worth €1 excluding VAT. All prices in these terms are stated excluding VAT.

2. Cost of an offer

The cost of an offer depends on the journey: 25 credits when departure and arrival are in the same region, 40 credits for a journey within France between two regions, 60 credits when departure or arrival is outside France. Each request accepts no more than 3 offers. The cost is shown, together with the transporter's balance, before each sending, and the transporter expressly accepts it. Replying “not available” or “maybe” is free. A request that is full debits nothing.

3. Free credits

A transporter whose listing is registered (sign-up on the site or claim approved by Cavalotrans) receives 40 free credits on the first of each month. Free credits do not roll over: any left at the end of the month expire. They are used before purchased credits. They have no monetary value and are neither refundable nor transferable.

4. Credit packs

Credits are bought in packs: 100 € excl. VAT for 150 credits, 250 € excl. VAT for 375 credits, 500 € excl. VAT for 750 credits, launch bonus included (50 % extra credits). The launch bonus applies to purchases made during the launch period and may end at any time, with no effect on credits already acquired. Purchased credits do not expire.

5. The 12-month All-in Region subscription

For 12 months from its activation, the All-in Region subscription allows the transporter to send offers without any credits being deducted on all requests departing from the transporter's region, up to the limit of 3 offers per request. Requests departing from another region remain payable in credits. Price: 990 € excl. VAT (launch price, instead of 1500 € excl. VAT). Satisfied or your money back: the transporter may request a full refund within 30 days of activation. Cavalotrans does not guarantee any number of requests.

The All-in Region subscription includes, free of charge, a professional website in the transporter's name, hosted and maintained by Cavalotrans for the duration of the subscription: presentation, vehicles, areas served, journey calendar, verified reviews and quote assistant. The site is set up by Cavalotrans after activation, based on the listing claimed by the transporter, who approves its content. Requests received through this site are passed on to that transporter only.

6. Insufficient credits

If the balance does not cover the cost of an offer, the offer is paid individually by bank card, at the price set in article 2 (25, 40 or 60 € excl. VAT). The remaining credits are not used. The offer is only sent to the requester once payment is confirmed. If the request became full during payment, the amount is returned in credits.

7. Payment

Payment is made by bank card only, through the secure payment provider Stripe. Credits or the subscription are activated by Cavalotrans as soon as payment is received.

8. Requesters' contact details

A requester's contact details are passed on only to the transporter whose offer they choose. Sending an offer does not guarantee being chosen.

9. No right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-3 of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal provided for consumers does not apply: this purchase is made by a professional, for the needs of their professional activity, and falls within the scope of their main activity.

10. Refunds

Some offers are refunded in credits, never in euros. If the requester does not choose any offer within 7 days of the last offer received, or before the transport date, all the credits of each offer are returned. Until 31/12/2026, a transporter whose offer is not selected gets back 50 % of the credits it cost. Returned credits go back to the balance they came from (free or purchased). Outside these cases and the guarantee in article 5, purchased credits are neither refundable nor exchangeable, including if they are not used.

11. Disputes

Any question about an order can be sent to [email protected]. Failing an amicable agreement, the competent courts shall be those with jurisdiction over the publisher's registered office.
