Cavalotrans (published by Axelle Vernhes Cappele, sole trader, SIREN 924 120 785, 3 rue du Forest, 59910 Bondues, France) takes the protection of your data seriously. This page explains what data is collected, why, and what your rights are.

Data collected

Depending on the form used: email, phone number, journey (departure, arrival, date) for a quote request; email, phone number, service area, approvals for a transporter listing; email for the newsletter sign-up. No banking data is collected or stored by Cavalotrans: payments are processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe).

Why this data

To put a person requesting transport in touch with the transporters that match their journey, to publish a transporter listing, and to keep you informed if you ask us to. The journey passed on to a transporter is anonymised: your contact details are only shared with them if you choose their offer.

Retention period

Quote requests are kept for as long as needed for the matching, then archived for statistical purposes. You can ask for them to be deleted at any time.

Recipients

Your data is never sold or passed on to a third party outside the matching you requested. It is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd (Cyprus, European Union).

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected].

Cookies

This site does not use advertising tracking cookies. The only technical information kept is used for the proper functioning of the site (anti-spam limits on forms).
