What Cavalotrans does

Cavalotrans puts people who wish to transport a horse in touch with listed professional transporters, and puts horse owners who wish to share a journey in touch with each other.

What Cavalotrans does not do

Cavalotrans does not organise the transport, does not collect any payment related to the transport and does not act in place of the transporter or of the owner making the journey. The price, the terms and the payment are negotiated and settled directly between the parties put in touch.

Professional section

Your quote request is passed on to the transporters in the departure region of your journey or, if there are none, to transporters located within 150 km of the departure point. You receive no more than 3 priced offers: you compare them and you choose. Your contact details (email, phone number) are only shared with the transporter you choose, after you have received their offer.

Private owners section

You publish a journey with space available, or you contact an owner who has published a journey. Cavalotrans passes on your request to be put in touch; it is then up to the owner of the journey to contact you if they wish. No booking and no payment is handled by Cavalotrans.

Liability

Cavalotrans does not check the accuracy of the information published by transporters or private individuals and cannot be held liable for the performance, quality or safety of a transport arranged between the parties.
