Five steps, from listing your company to the client who calls you.
Your listing may already exist
We list horse transporters from public sources: company registers, official lists, company websites. Search for your company and claim its listing. If it is not there, create it: we first check your company in the official register.
A request leaves from your region
Each request goes to the horse transporters in the departure region. If the region has too few, we widen to 150 km around the departure point. An international journey goes to transporters in the country of departure or arrival.
You see the journey, not the client
Departure, arrival, date, number of horses, distance by road and the request's Market Index. The owner's contact details stay hidden.
You reply in one click
A priced proposal, "not available" or "maybe". Three proposals at most per request: you are never one quote among twenty.
The client chooses you
If they accept your proposal, you receive their contact details by email. Price, terms and payment are settled directly between you.

Distance by road and the Market Index
Each request comes with its real distance and a rating from one to five stars: profitability of the journey, competition, deadline, how precise the request is.
A listing in your name, with no competitor on it
No other transporter appears on your claimed listing. A request made from your listing comes to you alone.

Requests received, your replies, your reviews, your invoices and your credits, on one page.
Your schedule and your transport documents
With a claimed listing, your requests and the transports you win arrive in your schedule. You add your other transports there, typed or dictated, and you produce a transport document as a PDF.
Your language
Requests, reply pages and our emails reach you in the language of your country: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish or Dutch.
Your transporter area and your schedule are in French for now.

Owners compare horse transporters on measured facts. The same rules apply to every listing.

Three checks together: you have claimed the listing, your company is active in the official register, and you have confirmed the listing's email address. It is free.
A reliability index out of 100
Calculated on measured data: verification, known transport authorisation, reply time, reply rate, priced proposals. Missing information does not count against you.
Reviews from real clients
Only an owner who chose you on Cavalotrans can leave a review, after the date of their transport. No transporter pays to be ranked higher on a page.
What it costs
No compulsory subscription, no direct debit, no commission on the price of your transports.
- Listing and claim: free. No bank card needed.
- Claimed listing: receiving and replying is free. You receive up to 3 full requests per day as soon as they arrive (the next ones are flagged to you), and your offers cost you nothing.
- Unclaimed listing: two summaries a day at most. Three full requests per day at most. A priced offer is then paid in credits.
- Priority is paid. With at least 25 credits, you receive the requests in your area before the other transporters (alone for 4 to 48 hours depending on the transport date), with no daily limit.
The credit price scale is sent to you with your access link. It is also published in our terms of sale.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to pay to be listed?
No. The listing is free, and so is claiming it. With a claimed listing, replying to requests is free. You only pay if you want to receive requests first.
Do you take a commission on my transports?
No. The owner pays you directly, at the price you proposed. Cavalotrans takes nothing from the transport price.
Where do the requests come from?
From horse owners who describe their journey on Cavalotrans or on a partner site, in six languages. We do not copy posts from social networks.
Which requests will I receive?
Those leaving from your region. If the region has too few horse transporters, we widen to 150 km around the departure point. For international journeys, those whose departure or arrival is in your country.
Do I have to reply?
No. If a request does not suit you, you leave it. "Not available" and "maybe" are always free.
When do I get the client's contact details?
When they choose your proposal. Before that, nobody has them: not you, not the other horse transporters.
How do I stop receiving requests?
Every email has a "Stop receiving requests" link. One click is enough: the emails stop and your listing is removed from the site.

Find it and claim its listing: it is free, and you receive requests in your area as soon as they arrive, up to 3 per day in full.
